About CPS Fire Protection Ltd

CPS Passive Fire Consultancy Ltd was established in 2025 to provide clear, independent support with Passive Fire Protection for residential and commercial buildings.

Brett is a Residential and Commercial Building Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), with over 20 years’ experience working with both public and private sector clients.

Throughout his career, Brett has worked closely with main contractors and specialist subcontractors across a wide range of projects. This experience highlighted a recurring issue within the construction industry: Passive Fire Protection is often poorly understood, inadequately planned, and inconsistently managed.

As a result, projects frequently suffer from:

• Incorrect or unclear quotations
• Poor site preparation
• Delays and repeat visits
• Unexpected remedial works
• Increased costs
• Disputes over responsibility and compliance
